We are Taken By Vultures, a group of aging punks from the Lowell Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire region of these United States. Since we all have families and full time jobs, we aren't super active, but we love to get out and play shows for everyone as often as possible. The four of us, Daron, Matt, Frank and Steve have been playing in different bands for a long time now. If you haven't seen us live, you may have met us playing with bands like The Digs, Blue Collar Convicts, The Drunk Nuns, SkyTigers or Disco Volante or even through Steve who used to run Ocelot Records. We all come from different punk backgrounds and you can hear that in a lot of our music. Mostly, our goal is to write fun songs, have a good time with our friends and fans on the rare occasion we play shows and to keep things as ridiculous and lighthearted as possible. We don't right songs that have to do with anything in particular and we don't focus our writing in any particular direction. You may come across some songs that fall closer to the metal side of things (Steve really likes Strung Out), or you could come across others that hit that classic hardcore punk arena (think NOFX and Teenage Bottlerocket).  If something sounds good to us, we put it out there. We are pretty slow to release new music, but we always have at least 2-3 things in the tank between releases so follow us on all the socials and streaming services and you'll get something new every now and again.
